Up to 8 LVDT channels
Measure several diameters, lengths and run-outs on one part in a single cycle — a true multi-gauging system
Gauging Display
Connect up to eight LVDT probes to one 7-inch touchscreen and check several dimensions on a part in a single cycle. Live SPC, taper and angle measurement, 25-grade segregation and traceable reports make the SmartGage a complete multi-gauging system — built in India.
One display, up to eight LVDT probes, complete part inspection
The SmartGage is Versa Controls' 8-channel LVDT gauging display — a 7-inch touchscreen measuring instrument that connects up to eight LVDT probes and turns them into a fast, repeatable multi-gauging system. Where a single dial indicator checks one feature at a time, the SmartGage reads every diameter, length, height, run-out and taper on a component together, then tells the operator instantly whether the part is good.
It is built for contact LVDT probes with display workflows on the shop floor: define a part setup, master the probes with step or simultaneous (group) mastering, and measure. Results appear as a digital readout (DRO), dial, run-chart, histogram or XBar chart, with live SPC (Cp, Cpk) and tolerance bands (LSL, LCL, UCL, USL). Parts can be graded and segregated into up to 25 alphanumeric grades for selective assembly — a genuine precision gauging solution for high-mix, high-tolerance production.
With 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs and dual RS-232 plus Ethernet, the SmartGage supports gauging automation — integrating into CNC gauging and automated in-process gauging cells — and exports PDF, CSV and DFQ (Q-DAS) reports date- and shift-wise for full traceability. As both a gauging display manufacturer and an LVDT sensor supplier, Versa can supply the display, probes and fixtures as one matched system.

Common questions about SmartGage(8-LVDT).
An LVDT gauging display reads the signal from LVDT (contact) probes and converts probe movement into a precise dimensional reading. The SmartGage connects up to eight LVDT probes, so several features on a part can be measured at once with live results and SPC on a 7-inch touchscreen.
Up to eight LVDT channels. You can measure multiple diameters, lengths, heights and run-outs on one part in a single cycle, and combine them using the result formula editor — a true multi-gauging system.
Yes. Alongside linear measurement in mm, it supports angle measurement in DMS or decimal degrees and offers Half-Taper and Full-Taper modes.
Yes — Cp and Cpk are shown live for ongoing measurements, with a configurable subgroup size from 2 to 25, plus Run-chart, Histogram and XBar-R / XBar-S views.
Yes. Parts can be sorted into up to 25 grades with a 5-digit alphanumeric mark — useful for selective-fit assembly and quality binning.
Yes. It has 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, dual RS-232 (COM1, COM2) and Ethernet, so it integrates into CNC and automated gauging stations for auto accept/reject and job counting.
PDF, CSV and DFQ (Q-DAS) reports stored date- and shift-wise, with auto-increment or manual job serial numbers and full job counters (oversize, undersize, OK, NG, total).
